Login screen -> License information

Availability: All versions

In this article we'll learn about,

  • How Licenses are authenticated and activated
  • Which versions including extension options are offered
  • Which Workflow training courses are offered

1. Authenticate and activate your license

The initial hardware bound license is issued by PrePress digital when an order from the customer has been confirmed. This test license is only valid for a certain period of time. Permanent activation of the license will be carried out by the customer's Durst technician.

The license can be activated by uploading the provided license file via the License Overview window in the Workflow. License activation is generally carried out by the technician during the initial software setup. If the software maintenance contract is extended, the customer can enter a valid license at any time.

Welcome - Login screen 1.7.5

The license file contains information which corresponds to the selected package [1] this includes purchased extensions, customer data with the associated contact person [2] as well as the validity of the software maintenance contract [3].

Software Maintenance Contract

The software maintenance contract includes the exclusive right to obtain and install all updates within the purchased period free of charge. Please note that by purchasing the Workflow you automatically have a one-year software maintenance contract. After the first year, you are then free to extend the software maintenance contract for a further year for a fee or to purchase an update at a later date.
