Installing the PDF Editor is easy. Find out in this article,

1. Introduction
The PDF Editor can be installed under macOS and Windows as a stand-alone application. A separate installer is available for both platforms, which can be downloaded at https://onpoint-applications.com.
2. System requirements
The system requirements for the PDF Editor must be met with regard to the operating system before you can start the installation.

In terms of hardware, the following minimum configuration should be provided. Generally speaking, the faster the processor, the more RAM and the faster the SSD hard disk, the smoother working with the PDF Editor will feel - especially with very complex and large data.

3. Installation
For the installation appropriate authorization must be given on the respective computer. During installation, you must also decide whether the application should be installed for the respective user or all users on the computer. However, our recommendation is clearly to install the application for all users, as this may avoid license problems.
3.1. Installation on Windows
After you have loaded the installer for Windows, carry out the following steps:
- Start the installer (.exe) by right-clicking on the installer or by simply double-clicking.
- The Choose Components dialog opens.

- Select the desired components [1].
- Press Next [2] to open the Choose Install Location dialog.

- Select the desired destination folder [3] and start the installation by clicking Install [4].
- The installation will take a few seconds.

- In case you would like to start the application immediately, the Run OnPoint PDF Editor [5] option should stay selected.
- Click Finish [6] to complete the installation.
3.2. Installation on macOS
After you have downloaded the installer for macOS, carry out the following steps:
- Start the installer (.dmg) by simply double-clicking on it.
- A window opens with a shortcut to your application folders and the icon for the application.

- Move the application icon to the Applications shortcut.
- The application is copied to your application folder and the installation is complete.
