In this article, you will learn
- which functions forStatus, Cleanup and Integrity Checkare available in the main menu of the PPD Tools Collection and
- how and for what these functions can be used.
Introduction
In this menu item of the main menu, it is possible to find major errors or problems in the system automatically. System-relevant information is checked here and the following questions can be answered:
- Are all services active?
- Is there enough hard disk capacity?
- How much RAM does the Workflow use?
- How high is the processor utilization?
Folder monitoring
The Status, Cleanup and Integrity Check can also be used to monitor folders.
Functioning and User Interface
A key function of the Status, Cleanup and Integrity Check is to quickly determine whether it is possible to free up the hard disk space and, if so, to carry out this process. The following contents and functions are available in this dialog:
Function of the buttons
- E [1] – this button opens the respective folder in Windows Explorer.
- C [2] – this button deletes the folder's contents. It is only available for folders that can be emptied without problems. Attention: If the folder c:\users\DWService\AppData\Local\Temp is deleted, ZuniComm should be restarted!
- R [3] – this button is used to redetermine the folder size.
- M [4] – this function can be used to monitor folder size. This can be helpful if it is not clear how much disk space a job requires during processing.
- V [11] – this button is used to start database compression.
- Refresh all Folders [7] – this button is used to redetermine the folder sizes.
- Check Folder [8] – this button is used to determine the size of any folder.
- Check FileManagement [9] – this button is used to access the File management Database check function.
- DW ProcMon [10] – this button opens the DW Process Monitor tool.
- Show Details [12] – this button is used to display the details of the tests.
- Refresh Integrity [13] – this button is used to repeat checks.
- DW Services [14] – this button is used to start the DW Services Manager.

- Status of DW Services – the status for the services PMS, ZuniComm, PostGres and SMC is displayed here.
- RAMusage – the RAM utilization is displayed here.
- RAM usage of components / number of running processes per type – The RAM usage of the individual Workflow components ZuniComm, Java (PMS), Toolbox and PostGres is displayed here, along with the number of running processes per type.
- Drive – the utilization of all drives is displayed here.
- CPU – the CPU utilization is displayed here.
- IP Address – the IPv4 address is displayed here.
- UA Server – the address of the UA server is displayed here.
- Windows Uptime – this shows the time since the computer was started.
Content "Integrity" text field [6]:
- DW-Info – a detailed display of the Workflow version is provided here, showing the BuildNumber, Branch and BuildDate. The Toolbox Version, HHR Version and PMS VM Mem Size used are also displayed.
- DW Program Folder Check – checks whether the most important program folders are present.
- DW Data Folder Check – checks whether the most important PMS_DATA folders are present.
- DW Files Check – checks whether the most important program files are present.
- DW Service Config Check – checks whether the service configuration is correct.
- DW DB Migration Check – checks whether all migrations have been carried out during an update.
- MD init Folder Check – checks whether the master data supplied has been imported.
- DW duplicates Folder Check – checks whether duplicate folders have been created in pms_data.
- Check Environment Variables – checks the environment variables.
- License Check – checks whether the license that has been installed matches the DW version that has been installed.
- UA Server Check – checks the availability of the UA server.
- ZuniComm Worker Threads Check – checks whether the ZuniComm worker threads are configured correctly.

"Tools" Menu Item
The Tools menu item in the Status and Cleanup dialog box provides the following options:
- File Analyzer [16] – This button starts the File Analyzer.
- FileManager-Database Check [17] – the File Management Database Check dialog can be opened here.
- Task Manager [18] – this button opens the Windows task manager.
- DW Services [19] – this button opens the Durst Workflow (DW) Services.
- Hibernation [20] – this button can be used to switch the hibernation mode on (enable) or off (disable).
