Note:

  • All standard keyboard shortcuts, e.g. for Copy&Paste or Undo/Redo, are also available in Illustrator.
  • Tools can be activated in Illustrator using keyboard shortcuts. Simply move the mouse over a tool and the shortcut will appear after a short time (e.g. "P" for "Pen" for the drawing pen).
  • Advice: In the Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts... menu, you can change the German shortcuts for zooming in and zooming out to the usual commands  Ctrl + + (Windows) or. cmd + + (macOS) and Ctrl + - (Windows) or. cmd + -.
  • Advice: The "most important" Illustrator windows that you should know how to use are "Layers" and "Appearance".

Adobe Illustrator Plug-in – End of Life

The plug-in is only available to users of older versions (before 1.14.0) of the Workflow. The plug-in can no longer be used for the current versions.

To create VDP Jobs, the VDP Editor has been available in Workflow since version 1.12.0. To edit print data in detail, the PDF Editor desktop application has been available as an extension to the Workflow since 2024.
