6.2 Keyboard Shortcuts – Workflow

  • which keyboard shortcuts are available in the Workflow, Impose Editor, Print Item Editor, and VDP Editor and
  • which keyboard shortcuts are used for Windows and macOS.

As a Workflow user, you should get acquainted with the program's keyboard shortcuts as shortcuts help the user to get work done quickly and efficiently. Shortcuts are provided for the Workflow, but also for the Impose Editor and the Print Item Editor.

Display the list of the most important keyboard shortcuts for the Workflow at any time by entering [?], i.e. Shift + ?, in the Workflow. Exit the display of the shortcut keys by pressing the [Esc] key or by pressing the shortcut key Shift + ? again. All shortcuts are listed below, grouped by task area.

2. Impose Editor

The Workflow contains an Impose Editor with which the user can arrange Print Items of the Production Job on the Impose Sheet. A number of shortcuts are available in the Impose Editor to speed up work.

3. Print Item Editor

Analyze and edit Print Items with the Print Item Editor. Practical keyboard shortcuts are also available for users in this editor. You should therefore get aquainted with the following shortcuts.

4. VDP Editor

The VDP Editor can be used to place both static and variable content on or behind a Print Item. To simplify working with this editor, the user has a number of keyboard shortcuts at their disposal.
