1. Introduction
Before installing the application, certain system requirements must be met and preparatory measures carried out on the server. These include verifying the hardware and software requirements, configuring the network, and installing any required supplementary programs. Compliance with these specifications ensures a stable and efficient deployment of the application.
2. System Requirements
The following tables list the recommended software and hardware requirements. Please note that these are suggested baseline configurations for getting started with the application. Depending on the intended use case and the scope of the final output, the actual requirements may vary significantly.

Minimum Processor Requirements (for RIP)
Global Graphics has updated the hardware requirements with HHR Core version 14.0.0.
These are the minimum CPU instruction set requirements:

3. Setting Up the Application
Before the application can be installed, certain preparatory steps must be completed. The following sections provide a detailed description to ensure a smooth installation process.
3.1. Network Configuration
Please observe the following points:
- The IP address of the application server must be defined statically.
- A proxy server must be disabled for local connections.
- The server must be accessible via the following ports:
- 8081 – for communication with the backend
- 8989 – for accessing the overview page of the ZuniComm workload
- 445 – SMB
- Internet access – for online activation of the license or to access the respective URL for offline license activation.
- Administrator rights on the server are required.
3.2. Power Options Settings in Windows
To prevent the server from automatically entering standby mode, the following change must be made in the Power Options within the Control Panel:
- Navigate to Control Panel > System and Security > Power Options and click on Change plan settings [1] or Change when the computer sleeps [2].
- In the dropdown menus Turn off the display and Put the computer to sleep, select Never [3] for both On battery and Plugged in.
- Finally, confirm your changes by clicking Save changes [4].

3.3. Additional Software to be Installed
The following software packages must be installed on every server:

The following software packages are optional but recommended:

- callas pdfToolbox https://www.callassoftware.com/en/products/pdftoolbox
3.3.1. Remote Maintenance Software and Support Tools
If you intend to grant a technician access to the server, please ensure that the following programs on the server are preinstalled. These tools are required to perform diagnostics, maintenance, installations, or updates via remote access on the server.

4. Performing an Update
Before updating the application, you should first verify that your license is still covered by a valid maintenance contract.
Authorization for Update
Only application versions that were released before the expiration date of the maintenance contract can be installed.
